The Anders family decides on a thorough solution and immediately starts planning the new building in Vechta and just one year later also in Diepholz. The first sod is turned in Vechta in January 1983; on November 24, the new Anders dealership in Vechta is inaugurated - in front of a spectacular backdrop of almost 760 enthusiastic guests and with the programmatic speech by the renowned business journalist Paul C. Martin, which ends with the wish formula: "May this star over Vechta never set.

And in Vechta in southern Oldenburg, the building contractor Richard Anders founds Autohaus Anders GmbH on June 28, 1982, following initial experience with his own Daimler-Benz dealership in Lütjenburg. After it became known that Mercedes-Benz intended to terminate the contracts of the dealerships in Vechta and Diepholz, the building contractor from Hohenfelde in Schleswig-Holstein sensed the opportunity of a lifetime, applied for the job and was able to convince even the last doubters with his hands-on manner. The investment is as smart as it is forward-looking. Vechta as well as Diepholz are considered home to proven Mercedes clientele, the brand floats as a "good star on all roads" and son Hauke has taken a pioneering step into the future with the just completed automotive locksmith apprenticeship at the Mercedes branch in Kiel.
