The 2,300 square meter glazed and light-flooded exhibition hall became too small in recent years. This was followed in 2019 by the construction of a new exhibition hall with an adjoining office building to get out of the way of the space problems. 500 square meters of sales area, 4 sales rooms, 2 meeting rooms and 17 offices are now more available to the Anders Group in Vechta. This new building, which was designed according to the current latest brand architecture ,,MAR2020'' by Mercedes-Benz, was inaugurated in 2020 with the laying of the foundation stone. The main business of the extension is the sale of new cars. High-quality young stars and used cars have moved into the existing 1983 showroom, and the sale of commercial vehicles has been expanded. A state-of-the-art tire warehouse was built next to the office building, providing space for up to 13,200 wheels. In addition to the tires of the customers of Autohaus Anders in Vechta, the wheels of the customers from Damme and the customers of Anders Automobile are also stored in the hall. This tire hall fits into the concept of the Anders Group, because here the job is far from over after the sale of a new or used car. In addition to comprehensive services, the business naturally offers one of the most modern Mercedes-Benz service stations in the region. Thanks to dialog acceptance, an extensive parts supply and state-of-the-art work technology, the high standards of quality, reliability and customer orientation are met. As a car and truck service center with 25 workshop spaces for repairs, maintenance work and other services and a team that is as competent as it is friendly, Autohaus Anders in Vechta offers a balanced mix of information and experience at the "point of sale".
The Anders Group has also invested a lot in terms of environmental protection, in addition to the other 12 locations in Vechta. For example, all lamps have been replaced with energy-saving LED lighting, and modern heating systems and 0W oils are used to save CO². Across all 13 sites, a total of 2,658 tons of CO² have already been saved in 2018.
In addition to these measures, there is a photovoltaic system on the two new buildings, which supplies a large part of the energy required. Furthermore, a wastewater treatment system has been installed in which microorganisms treat the wastewater from the new car wash and tire wash, resulting in almost drinking water quality.
Since August 2021, the Hyundai and Urwahn brands have supplemented the portfolio at our location in Vechta. Thus, we not only sell and repair Hyundai as a new car brand, but also Urwahn brand bicycles.
