The constant communication of all networked systems on board generates several gigabytes of data per truck every day, which can be used for various vehicle diagnoses. A large proportion of all diagnostic processes are already supported fully automatically and remotely by Mercedes-Benz Uptime. With the result that the cause of the fault is already known in the workshop before your vehicle reaches the workshop.

Mercedes-Benz Uptime manages to automatically upload recommendations for the workshop to the dealer within an average of 240 seconds after data acquisition in the truck.

In the more than 1,500 Mercedes-Benz Retail dealerships certified for Mercedes-Benz Uptime in Europe, for example, this results in a diagnosis time for the incoming test in the workshop that is up to a factor of 3 shorter.

The Fleetboard deployment analysis helps to reduce fuel consumption and wear and tear. The telematics system records and evaluates technical data from the truck. It also shows how intensively the Predictive Powertrain Control system is being used. Based on this data, the driver's driving behavior is calculated in grade form. This enables an objective assessment of driving style and training tailored to the individual driver. All in all, fuel savings of up to 15% can be achieved.
